Abstract

Laplace transform is an integral transform that converts a function of a real variables t to a function of a complex variables. By the help of Laplace we convert differential equation of algebraic.


The Laplace transform is widely used in engineering applications, especially where the driving force is discontinuous.It is also used in process control. Inverse Laplace transform transforms a differential equation to an algebraic equation, making differential equations easier to solve. It converts a complex function of a complex variable s(frequency) to a function of a positive real variable Inverse Laplace can convert any variable domain back to time domain or any basic domain like from frequency domain back to time domain. These properties allow them to be used for solving and analysing linear dynamical systems.
